indicated angle = 48° ( to the nearest degree )

Since the triangle is right use the cos ratio to find the angle

cos ? = [tex]\frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{24}{36}[/tex]

? = [tex]cos^{-1}[/tex]([tex]\frac{24}{36}[/tex]) = 48°
