equate any 2 sides and solve for d

KL = LM

d + 2 = 12 - d ( add d to both sides )

2d + 2 = 12 ( subtract 2 from both sides )

2d = 10 ( divide both sides by 2 )

d = 5

KL = d + 2 = 5 + 2 = 7

LM = 12 - d = 12 - 5 = 7

KM = 4d - 13 = (4 × 5) - 13 = 20 - 13 = 7
