Label the enzyme, substrate, enzyme–substrate complex, enzyme–product complex, and product in the enzymatic reaction for the breakdown of urea by urease using the induced-fit model. drag the appropriate labels to their respective targets.

Respuesta :

When the substrate(Urea) is present, the enzyme(Urease) breaks it down into ammonia and carbon dioxide. To catalyze the reaction urease is needed.

Urea is a small molecule formed when the proteins break down in the cell. It is not toxic in low level and found. The breakdown of urea occurs in organisms that excrete ammonia as waste product.

The image shows the labelling in the enzymatic reaction for the breakdown of urea by urease using induced fit model. In induced fit model the enzyme changes its shape on binding of substrate to catalyze the reaction as shown in image.
