• let y = 0, in the equation for x- intercept

x= 0 → 4y = - 36 ⇒ y = - 9 ⇒ (0, - 9 ) → y- intercept

y = 0 → - 3x = - 36 ⇒ x = 12 ⇒ (12, 0 ) → x- intercept
