This dimension delas with the fact that all individuals in society are not equal, that is, the magnitude to which the less powerful members of organizations and institutions (like families) accept and expect that power is distributed unequally.

Societies and cultures are not equal thus their equality ranges varies from culture to culture. That is there is high power distance where by the less powerful accept that power is distributed unequally. while large power distance basically measures how culture views power relationships between people. Cultures demonstrating high power distance view power as distributed unevenly, according to a hierarchy of authority.
