There are different fine arts classes and 8 different foreign languages classes offered at your school. How many different combinations of these elective classes can you select?

If there are four choices for fine-arts, which there probably is (choir, band, orchestra, and, drama) and eight language choices you will have 32 combinations possible when taking one of each (language and fine arts) as that is the requirement. 

8 language choices by 4 fine arts choices gives you 32 total options
