When you have like bases, you multiply the exponents together and put it over the base.
[tex] 2^{2} 2^{3} = 2^{2*3} = 2^{6} [/tex]
[tex] 2^{2} 2^{3} = 2^{2*3} = 2^{6} [/tex]
Hey there!!
The answer you're looking for is ( D ) because in exponents, the rule is..
║If the bases are the same, add the exponents║
2 ^2 * 2 ^3 = ? (Bases are the same, add the exponents)
Answer: D = 2^5
║Hope that helps :)║
