Hydrometer- instrument that measures the density of liquids to water.
Laminar flow- occurs when fluid flows in parallel layers.
Newtonian fluid- rate changes over time; fluid which the stresses arise from its flow at every point, are linearly proportional to the strain rate.
NON-Newtonian fluid- dependent on sheer rate; sheer rate history. Does NOT follow Newtons law of Viscosity.
Pascal's law: states any pressure applied to an enclosed fluid system will transmit pressure equally in all directions of fluid.
