x^2=a
-3x=b
-18=c

$\frac{3+/- \sqrt{3^2-4(1)(-18)} }{2(1)}$

$\frac{3+/- \sqrt{9+72} }{2}$

$\frac{3+/- \sqrt{81} }{2}$

$\frac{3+/- 9 }{2}$

$\frac{3+9}{2}= \frac{12}{2} =6$

$\frac{3-9}{2} = \frac{-6}{2} =-3$

Your answer would then be 6 and -3
