Creon is the character in Antigone by Sophocles which is an archetypal character.
The character which reflects the most typical of a kind of person or quality is known as an archetypal character. Creon is the king of Thebes who is arrogant and who never turns back. He is stubborn, full of pride and only believes in his words and decisions. Though he starts to realize the correct things something keeps him back every time.
