β’ it doesn't matter which is the pre-image and which is the image. Dilated geometries are proportional regardless.
β’ There are a number of ways to determine corresponding sides. For a triangle, the sides can be ordered smallest to largest, for example. It is not necessary to label points (though it can be helpful).
