muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle or muscle group to exert force to overcome a resistance. Strength is the amount of work you can do with your muscles at one time. Power is when you use your muscles to perform high intensity movements in short bursts.
The difference between strength, muscular endurance, and power include:
- Strength simply means the ability of a muscle to be able to generate force against resistance. On the other hand, power simply means a large amount of force that can be generated quickly. Muscular endurance simply means the ability of muscles to be able to exert force against a particular thing for a period of time.
- Strength has to do with one repetition while power has to do with several repetitions. Muscular endurance involves constant repetition.
It should be noted that power, strength, and muscular endurance are forms of muscular ability.
