Some coastal areas are at a higher risk for tsunamis than others are. How do we know which coastal areas are more likely to be affected by tsunamis

Respuesta :

Hello there!

#1 Living near the ocean or beach.

No on can predict when a Tsunami will happen, but we can all assume where it would happen. Places near the beach or coast are key places in getting hit by Tsunamis.

#2 Living somewhere that has been hit by a Tsunami before

If you live somewhere where a Tsunami has hit several times before, you can guess it is likely to happen again. Certain coastal areas have been hit by Tsunamis several times before.

#3 Low lying areas are very likely to get struck by Tsunamis.

Sloped ground is even easier for a tsunami to make it's way through. Again, only if the you are near the ocean.

Hope this helped you!
