Linda can mow the lawn in 3 hours. Ron can mow the lawn in 2 hours. How long would it take Linda and Ron to mow the lawn if they worked together?

Aren't you supposed to subtract in order to get the answer?

3 hours - 2 hours = 1 hour
So the answer is 1 hour.

1 hour if they work together it would take less time 3-2=1
