Other than squares, the polygons that can be the faces of a platonic solid are triangles and pentagons. Platonic solids are 3-D shape equivalent of a polygon; which are three dimensional figures whose sides are congruent, regular polygons, with identical vertices. examples of platonic solids are bricks, tissue boxes, houses and a dice.
