A person can suffer from Hypothermia in cold weather, usually if undressed and exposed to cold temperatures.

Swimming or falling in cold/icy water, wind-chill effect and just being careless in a snowstorm can all contribute.

A person is said to suffer from Hypothermia once their body temperature falls below 96 F
