Mother Teresa was the originator of the Organization of the Missionaries of Charity, the assemblage of women of a Roman Catholic committed to serving the poor. Recognized one of the 20th Century's most prominent philanthropists, she was loved as Saint Teresa of Calcutta in 2016. She is notable because she was a personality who was dedicated to her position of religion in Christ. In fact, she persisted to assist the poorest of the poor in Calcutta India. She struggled with patients, refugees and the abandoned people in Calcutta.
