Cells contain smaller parts known as organelles. The nucleus, chloroplasts, mitochondria, and vacuoles are all examples of organelles. What do these organelles have in common?
They are all membrane enclosed (all organelles are). All but vacuoles are actually double membrane organelles and carry out chemical reactions within them (nucleus - DNA replication, chloroplasts - photosynthesis, mitochondria - respiration)
