Earth's prograde motion will bring daylight to the spot. Earth's rotation is eastward, in prograde motion. The Earth rotates around it's own axis, this takes time in 24 hours, and it makes the change of day and light possible because it is moving constantly and all (except one little part) of the planet manages to get sunlight in a 24 hours frame of time.
