you start with -6 times -6 which equals 36,
from there subtract six (which would give you 30) and then subtract another 6 giving you a final answer of 24

-6 x -6 equals 36 (do not put the negative sign on 36), then 36 + -6 = 30, and now, 30 - 6 = 24

So, your answer would have been 24
