I believe the answer is B, because of the fact that a lot more wars led from the end of world war 1, like the Korean war and the war near Cambodia. Hope this helped!
Thanks!

The answer is B):
Following World War II, colonies from France, Great Britain, etc., were actively participating in the war effort, on the allied front. Although the negotiations of the independence of Algeria first started during the First World War, the promises of greater self-rule in Algeria went unfulfilled, peaceful negotiations were never enough as there were also internal factions in the African countries still retaining benefits (the rich and the high political ruling classes).
Many post world war conflicts emerged: Algerian War of Independence, 1954–1962 finally with Charles de Gaulle acknowledging the autonomy.
Civil war on Cambodia 1967–1975 Cambodia on his part, declared independence from France on November 9, 1953, a conflict that lasted until 1975 as consequence of a coup d Etat rebelling against any European intervention. Again, it was clear that the French wanted to retain influence over the region (the former Indochina administration).
The Korean War began when North Korean troops pushed into South Korea in 1950, a Japanese colony from 1910 until 1945. It was not until the end of World War II that Korea became independent after 36 years of oppression under the Japanese Empire.
