It is Saturday afternoon, and Cleve is spending it at his favorite place in the whole world; the pet shop. He is fascinated by the puppies, the guppies, and the frogs. He notices that the total number of guppies and frogs is 51. The total number of frogs and puppies is 17, and the total number of puppies and guppies is 58. How many guppies, how many puppies and how many frogs were in the pet store?

idk im pretty sure you just add the numbers up...im not in high school but it kinda seems obvious

There are 46 guppies, 12 puppies, and 5 frogs. You see the total number of guppies, puppies, and frogs is 63 which is what you get when you add 51, 58, and 17. You would then subtract those numbers (51, 58, 17) from the total of all which is 63 and by doing that you’ll get the answer for each animal. (46 guppies, 12 puppies, and 5 frogs).
