In the top equation, the y-intercept is -8, so on the graph, go down 8 from the origin, (0,0) and the slope is 3 which is the change y over change in x, from (0,-8), go up 3, over 1 and repeat until the end of the graphing space. Then, graph the next with the y-intercept being -2 , go down 2 from the origin and this time the slope is -3, so go down 3 over 1, but continue the graph the other way to because a line go infinitely in both ways. Btw, if the slope is negative it slants left because it is a negative. If it’s a positive then it slants right. After all that graphing , the point or coordinates are that cross is the solution. Hope this helps!
