y intercept is a constant (represented by 'd'), so set x=0 in each case.

for A,
$h(0) = - 3{d}^{0} = - 3$
the function at the y intercept is not equal to variable d.

whereas for D,
$h(0) = d( {3}^{0} ) = d$
this answer shows that d is the solution to the equation at the y intercept.

of course the solution to B and C are
$h(0) = 0$
So they can't be right either.

so D is the answer.
