Biodiversity becomes very important because to maintain the balance of the environment and also play a role in the food chain. For example: man can not survive without rice (rice) although there is a substitute for rice (eg cassava, sago), rats can not live without rice (because rice is the food). If in the absence of bacterial decomposers, the earth will be filled with carcasses.

Biodiversity is important for an environment to grow. In an environment, a lot of resources are needed for organisms to thrive and live. Furthermore, many organisms depend on one another either in symbiotic relationships or for food. Without biodiversity, organisms would die off due to lack of resources.
