momentum of the bullet is m×v = 0.01 kg × 800 m/s = 8 kgm/s

so momentum of baseball also= 8 kgm/s

8= mass of baseball × velocity
8= 0.145 × v

on solving for v,
v= 55.17 m/s which is the required velocity
