I would say B: Military strategy

The U.S. involvement in the war started with a massive air assault called "Operation Desert Storm"

After this the U.S. mainly helped defend Saudi Arabia from attacks but eventually helped end the war.

A large ranged attack went on for some time which consisted of the U.S. taking out Gun Factories, Roads, Bridges, and other important land marks which were claimed by Saddam Hussein.

Finally the U.S. contributed in the final assault which was called "Desert Sabre" which had the U.S. and allies take over Kuwait (Which was the country Iraqi president Saddam Hussein wanted to take over) in very short time and resulted in the Iraqi army retreating and the U.S. victory.

Hope this helps!

Air superiority.
