The Bering Strait Land Bridge theory explains how Native Americans got to North and South America. This theory is greatly accepted by society and scientist because it gives a reasonable explanation on why and how Native Americans got to North and South America.

Here's a short version of the theory:

When the Ice Age started, Asians from places like Siberia, and father up north, crossed the Bering Strait from Russia to Alaska. They crossed because it was becoming too cold to survive; plants gone, animals dead, etcetera. So they had to go elsewhere to survive. This is the first known migration to North and South America as far as we know.
