The deer population will be too large to be supported by producers
The diet of a wild deer includes such things as grass, bark, twigs, berries, young shoots and other vegetation. Deer eat about two pounds of dry food each day for every 100 pounds of body weight. Lactating mothers will consume more.
As the deer population increases excessively to the point of over-population, wild vegetation may be wiped out, eventually leading to the deer searching for vegetation elsewhere for nourishment, for e.g. in private gardens. They will eventually become pests, and may cause the extinction of certain species of plants if the type of plant is only found in that particularly region where the deer live.
Hope this helps! :)
