The power dissipated in the wire is
[tex]P=I^2 R=IV[/tex]
where I is the current and V the voltage.
Using P=45 W and V=120 V, we find the value of the current in the wire:
[tex]I= \frac{P}{V}= \frac{45 W}{120 V}=0.38 A [/tex]
