Ok so to find a line perpendicular to the one you have, it will have the opposite-reciprocal slope (the line it gives you has a slope of 6x or 6/1 so the slope of the new line will be -1/6x), then you need to find where the line will hit the y-axis. If it hits (5, 2) and you want it to be (_,0) you move 1 on y and 6 on x until y is 0 (which would be (-7,0). So the equation for the new line is y= -1/6x-7
