Melissa has enough paint to cover an area of 250 square feet. She want to paint two walls. The rectangular wall is 9 feet high and 20 feet wide. The square wall has a height of 9 feet. Does Melissa have enough paint to cover the area of both walls?

Respuesta :

im assuming the entire room would be 9by9ft for the square walls and 20by9ft for the rectangle walls so you would do 9×9+20×9 which is 81+280= 216ft so she doesnt have enough paint
No simply no if you multiply length times with times height you'd get 1620 ft that need to be covered if you even when with a surface area it will still not be enough to cover both walls even if you were to just paint one side of the wall it would still require more paint from.nith walls so simply no Melissa needs more paint xD
