Minerals, are Micronutrients. Micronutrients and macronutrients should not be
mistaken with each other. With micronutrients, only relatively little amount of
nutrients is required to improve health. They are usually in milligram and
microgram amounts and are enough to sustain to the metabolism and growth
supplication. On the other hand, macronutrients are those that need large
portions and quantities such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins. We need more
of these to be converted to energy for movement and muscle growth.
