Racial segregation involving political, economic, and legal discrimination against non-whites is called apartheid.This kind of discrimination was highly prevalent in the country of Africa. The word Apartheid actually means separateness or in other words “the state of being apart” in the language of the Afrikaans. It was actually a kind of racial discrimination or segregation that was enforced by the National Party of Africa through a legislation. The National Party or NP was the ruling party in Africa from the year 1948 to 1994.
