we know that

the double intercept form is
(x/a)+(y/b)=1

–1 = –y + x---------> multiply by -1 all expression
1=y-x-------> 1=(-x/1)+(y/1)
so
a=-1
b=1
the points to graph are
(a,0)  and (0,b)---------> (-1,0) and (0,1)

Answer: So our function is -1 = - y + x.

If we use the double intercept approach, we can see that y = x + 1, so y is equal to 0 when x is equal to -1. So the graph would pass through the point (-1,0). Also we know that x = y -1, so x is equal to zero when y is equal to 1,

So the graph passes through the point (0,1). Now you have two points of the linear graph, so you can connect them with a straight line, and that will be the graph of the function.
