O k, to answer this question , let us suppose that there are 75 kinds of fishes found in Lake Michigan,each being approximately 1 million in number.

So, the types of fishes suppose are , A, B,C.AB,A BB, A BBB,.....we will differentiate them according to their Quality,but their number are in million, which we can call numerical data or  Quantitative data.

We can't give the fishes in lake as discrete value, as it does not take certain random values.

As, the data set is about different kind of fishes, which is being categorised for their study.

So we will call this data as (D) Categorical data.
