For both of these, we simply need to make w and x the subject.
7. V = lwh
Divide lh on both sides to get w by itself,
[tex] \frac{V}{lh} [/tex] = w
w = [tex] \frac{V}{lh} [/tex]
8. Ax + By = C
Ax = C - By
Divide A on both sides to get x by itself
x = [tex] \frac{C - By}{A} [/tex]
