Progressive Era was a period between 1896–1916 that led to political, social, cultural reform in U.S. It led to formation of various labor unions which contributed in forming fair and just labor laws.
During the progressive era, many labor unions were formed, and it worked for the betterment of labors condition and hence the labor laws were constituted. Such as working for 8 hours a day and providing better working condition.
