PLEASE HELP! The question asks: "For rectangle ABCD and square ABCD, find the missing indicated angle measures."
angle ADE=
angle AED=
angle EBA=

I need to find all three and I'm very confused on how to because it was not very taught upon in my class. I have a few more like these also :(

PLEASE HELP The question asks For rectangle ABCD and square ABCD find the missing indicated angle measures angle ADE angle AED angle EBA I need to find all thre class=

Respuesta :

So we'll start off by saying that triangle ADE is isosceles because side AE is equal to side ED because the diagonals in a rectangle bisect each other. And since the traingle is isosceles, angle EAD has to be equal to angle ADE. Now we already know that angle EAD is 50 degrees so angle ADE=50 degrees.

Now, the sum of all of the angles in a triangle has to be equal to 180 degrees. So angle EAD+ angle ADE+ angle AED= 180. So 50+50+angle AED= 180, so angle AED = 80 degrees.

So, first find angle EAB, which is 40 because 90-50, the right angle minus angle EAD,is 40. And since triangle EBA is isosceles, angle EAB is equal to angle EBA. So angle EBA= 40 degrees
Hope this helps.
