.The central idea of the Renaissance was on humanism. This meant that focus on the classic works of
the Greeks and Romans which were now revived during this period. Attention now was on the elevation of human
achievement and to value classical culture.
During this period Renaissance scholars were sponsored by wealth patrons
and soon the movement spread from Italy to other countries as well. It had enhanced world culture, contributed to
geographical discoveries and started the intellectual revolution.
