2) reduce labour productivity - People with AIDS have more sick days than those without, affecting their job productivity
3) reduce exports and increased imports - lower domestic productivity due to the reduction of labour supply and productivity reduces the exports. Increase in number of people with AIDS will increase imports wherein items imported are healthcare goods.
