To find out the answer first we will find out the unit rate, of how much 1 egg roll costs. To do this we will divide the amount of dollars ($1.20) by the amount of egg rolls (2) for this price. The answer will be the amount of dollars 1 egg roll cost. Then we will multiply how much 1 egg rolls costs by 10 and the answer will be the amount of dollars 10 egg rolls cost. lets do it:-
1.20 ÷ 2 = 0.6
1 egg roll costs $0.60.
CHECK OUR WORK:-
0.60 × 2 = 1.20
We were RIGHT!!
Lets multiply now:-
0.60 × 10 = amount of dollars 10 egg roll cost
0.60 × 10 = 6
6 egg roll cost $6.
So, 10 egg rolls cost $6.
