The answer is 88 because both numbers are fractions and you need to divide it. So you flip one of the fractions from bottom to top, in this case your next step can be 11/2 multiplied by 16. And then you divied 16 by 2 which is 8. After that you multiply 8 to 11 and that gives you 88 =)

Change it to improper fractions 1 1/2 is equal to 24/16. Then cross multiply 24/16÷1/16=384/16=24. .......You can also change it into decimals where 1 1/2= 1.5 and 1/16=.0625. Then, 1.5÷.0625=24
