$1.66 

because $1 is for 2 pencils. Now, 10 pencils is $5 since 2 pencils is $1. $5 is for 10 pencil and 5 eraser is the $3 because 8-5=$3. 

$3 is for 5 eraser. So, now do 5÷3=1.666....
You can just make it $1.66
