Imagery shows the depth of an author's work through reader's understanding by means of the senses. Indeed, imagery exists in 7 different forms which each one of them corresponds to a different sense. The difference between imagery and imagination is a debate topic. Therefore, imagery cannot only be thought as a visual image.
