So, 2x + 3x = 35

$\frac{5x}{5}= \frac{35}{5}$

x = 7

Paul's age = 2x = 2(7) = 14 yrs

Luis's age = 3x = 3(7) = 21 yrs

So age of Paul's is 14 yrs and age of Luis's is 21 yrs.
