Mitosis is a process by which a cell divides in an identical daughter cells, During the process one cell divides and produce two identical cells. Mitosis is for growth and replacement of dead cells, Mistakes in mitosis can result in changes in the DNA and can lead into genetic disorders.
  • The evidence that shows that mitosis is a continuous process, not a series of separate events is that the cell has a lot of different amounts of cells in different stages, and mitosis often shows that the cells are constantly dividing.

Due to the fact that all cells undergo a lot of change at different times and not all at the same time, it thus shows that mitosis consist of different continuous process. ,

The changes keeps taking place, it is a continuous process that does not end. This shows that as new daughter cells are formed, this cells in turn will later on form new daughter cells.

Mitosis consist of continuous process that is grouped into five stages. They are prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase.
