Diabetes insipidus is a disease that caused by decreases in antidiuretic hormone that produced by the hypothalamus. The antidiuretic hormone will be secreted when the body lacks water. It will decrease the urine production(antidiuretic) and increase thirst to replenish the water. Continous deficiency of antidiuretic hormone will cause the person to continuously create urine, make it diluted and the osmolarity becomes decreased. It will also cause continuous thirst.
