You have been using massive amounts of weed killer and insecticide chemicals to knock out all of those pesky weeds in your yard, as well as the grubs and aphids that are munching on your roses and your grass. what effect might this have from a microbiological standpoint?

.This would upset the ecological balance in the environment. The non-selective nature of the chemical insecticide will kill even beneficial organisms such as nitrogen-fixing bacteria, beneficial fungi such as mycorrhizae, and reduce microbial activity in the soil.  This would ultimately reduce benefits to the plants (even reduce pollination by animals)
