Ferdinand Magellan (born on circa 1480) was said
to be the first explorer to circumnavigate the globe. When he was a boy, he
already studied the details of navigation as well as navigating. At twenty
years old, he was already sailing together with large ships for battles. In the
year 1519, being supported by the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V, he was tasked
to look for an alternative route in looking for the Spice Islands. He was
killed by a native in an island (now called Philippines), however he had toured
the world in a single expedition
